Iron Mountain expands digital footprint
~Sales manager appointed for Nordics region, Northern European hub established due to rapid team growth~
29th March 2006 – Iron Mountain Digital, the technology business unit of Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE: IRM) has announced expansion plans for its Northern European territory.
The Digital team has grown by 250 per cent, including the appointment of pre-sales and support staff across the region. A significant appointment is Ken Yearwood as sales manager for the Nordics region. Yearwood will be responsible for promoting Iron Mountain‘s technology products and services across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Having held senior business development positions at Netbox and Brocade, Yearwood has excellent experience in the data storage industry, and has had substantial success in developing new business channels in new markets throughout his career.
The expanded team will be based in Theale, Reading; forming a hub for sales activity in the region and the development of direct and indirect channels to market. This added sales capability supports the organic growth already established, but also enables the promotion of all of the organisation’s existing comprehensive data protection solutions, which include:
