Iron Mountain appoints new head of European business
~Reuters and DHL veteran to take the helm of Iron Mountain Europe
and strengthen regional footprint~
Iron Mountain Incorporated, the global leader in information protection and storage services, has appointed Marc Duale as president of its European operations. Duale will oversee the running of Iron Mountain Europe from its headquarters in London, bringing with him more than 25 years of international leadership experience.
Iron Mountain Europe is a subsidiary of Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE:IRM), and already has a strong presence in the UK, western and central Europe, servicing 47 markets within 15 countries. One of Duale’s first tasks will be to build on the company’s existing solid reputation and expand further into Europe.
Duale aims to grow Iron Mountain Europe aggressively, both in terms of revenue and profitability, while building an organisation to support a much larger enterprise. His business strategy will remain true to the company’s existing approach of combining strong organic growth with intelligent, complementary acquisitions, and setting aggressive targets for the region to hit.
Duale is a French native and has proven his international leadership working with global companies such as Reuters and DHL. Prior to joining Iron Mountain, Duale was managing director of Reuters’ Asia Pacific operations. Before that, he served as COO of DHL Worldwide Express’ Asia-Pacific and Middle East business, with responsibilities spanning more than 50 countries.
